The castle



The castle - sometimes called the castle or keep of Duchess Anne - is a historic monument located south of the city of Dinan, classified by decree of July 12, 1886, which is part of the 2,600 meters of ramparts. It was created in the late sixteenth century from three separate buildings: the ducal tower, built in the 1380s, the door of the Guichet and the Coëtquen tower, built in the late fifteenth century during the modernization of the city walls

The Basilica of Saint Sauveur, built in the 12th century, has been constantly transformed and remains unfinished. It houses the cenotaph of the heart of Constable du Guesclin. The church of Saint-Malo



The church of Saint Malo was built in stages between the end of the 15th century and the end of the 19th century. It is Gothic and Renaissance in style and is especially famous for its stained glass windows from the beginning of the 20th century and its English organ with polychrome pipes, built by Oldknow in 1889. It was listed by decree on 1 August 1907

The Convent of the Cordeliers



The Cordeliers convent was founded in the 13th century but the present buildings date from the 15th century. Restored in the 19th century, it now houses a private educational establishment. Its portal on the Place des Cordeliers was listed by decree on 29 December 1930

The Clock Tower



The clock tower belfry of the XV th century, 45 m high, which symbolizes the prosperity of the city. Located near the medieval city, it still has the bell offered by Duchess Anne. The tower, purchased by the community of the city in 1498, was classified as a historical monument by order of December 28, 1910. From the top of the belfry, from its circular platform, a panoramic view of the city of Dinan.

The Rance Valley



The Rance valley is one of the most characteristic estuaries in the region. While the river is vast at low tide, it looks like an arm of the sea at high tide. Saint-Malo



Saint-Malo, the corsair city, is a fortified port located on the estuary of the Rance river. A stroll through the streets will inevitably lead you to a site of interest. We can mention, in no particular order, the Grande Porte, the Cathédrale Saint-Vincent, the Château de Saint-Malo. Outside the city are the fortified islands of Grand-Bé and Petit-Bé with the tomb of Chateaubriand

Formerly the Roche-Goyon, the castle of Fort-La-Latte is located in front of the Cap Fréhel in Plévenon and is one of the most famous Breton castles

Cape Fréhel



Cape Fréhel is a bird sanctuary along the Emerald Coast. 8.5 km from the centre of Fréhel and 4 km from the centre of Plévenon, it is one of the most impressive in Brittany: the cliffs dominate the sea by about 70 metres. A path through heather and gorse, part of the GR 34, leads around the cape. On a clear day you can see the Channel Islands of Jersey.
